Qualified for Professorship in Macroeconomic Theory and Policy at the University of Copenhagen, 1995. Evaluation Committee: Professors Niels Thygesen (chairman), Peter Englund, Seppo Honkapohja, Karl O. Moene, Lars E. O. Svensson. Concluding statement by the Committee: “The publications submitted and the generally high rate of scientific output over the past decade demonstrated by the full list of articles and papers show Ole Risager as a well-established researcher into central areas of macroeconomic theory and policy. His work is analytically advanced, and derives additional quality from the author’s good sense for policy issues. He is qualified for the Chair in Macroeconomic Theory and Economic Policy.”
